Manhattan Magic

New York singer Lesley Alexander's "Manhattan Magic", features great jazz, blues & soul from Ella Fitzgerald to Aretha Franklin & Etta James. Lesley, who sang with The Roy Budd Orchestra for the iconic Michael Caine film 'Get Carter' and had a song written for her by Paul Anka, has performed at many of the best night clubs in New York, including Playboy Club, Blue Note & Cotton Club. Lesley brings all the glitz of the New York Cabaret scene to Maidstone for a great night out.  Geoff Eales. Geoff performs favourites from Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, McCoy Tyner and George Shearing, as well as pieces from his new album. Geoff was resident pianist with The BBC Big Band for many years and a favourite accompanist for many leading singers including Shirley Bassey, Jose Carreras, Kiri Te Kanawa, Lesley Garrett and Michael Ball.

Frank Holder's Quartet

 Frank Holder Quartet Holder one of the very few still-performing jazz musicians to have played on the London jazz scene that followed the Second World War in the 1940's & 50's. Frank's enthusiastic approach to singing, and the rhythm of his conga playing, is as fresh today as in his days with the bands of Leslie 'Jiver' Hutchinson, Joe Harriott, John Dankworth, Ronnie Scott, Duncan Lamont to name only some of them and more recently with the iconic Latin American band Paz.
